Happy New Year

Dec 22, 2004

Dear All,

As the year comes to an end, I'm left once again counting my blessings.

I could dwell on my problems, but that would be petty,  because my problems are infinitesimally insignificant when compared to the problems of hundreds upon hundreds of millions of this world.

And my blessings are such that I'm reluctant to list them, lest I be accused of gloating. Yet,  if you would stop for a moment and count them, you'd realize that these are blessings that you too enjoy.
I believe that there is an invisible grace that guides all our lives and that this grace is powered by the cumulative good wishes of those around us. That is why, when people wish me well, I take it as a tangible gift.

On that note, let me say that whatever your problems, you are stronger than you think and I wish you and your loved ones all the best.
